I don't know why the rules would need to be clarified. In two separate places it says to take another action immediately. Immediately is italicized in the rules. It also says immediately when getting the bonuses from the other tiles when they are placed in the estate.

As the rules state, it is not "part of the same action". The above explanation that uses that terminology is confusing and not helpful. According to the rules, it is an additional die action that is taken immediately. The use of the word immediately is what trumps everything else.

It was obvious enough that we came to the correct conclusion eventually. I am not going off on a rabid tirade about it, either. Just suggesting that that some natural questioning may arise because a literal reading of the rules regarding purchasing tiles from the Central Black Depot can reasonably bring up the question of which rule is dominant. Purchasing before the additional die action or immediately taking the die action.

Oftentimes, rules are somewhat loose in wording regarding timing, so some questioning and possible confusion can reasonably be expected to occur, lacking the presence of an explicit example in the Castles description or an FAQ to address this specific edge case, wherein the rules overlap somewhat.

This rule book overall is excellent, but that does not imply that everyone at the table will possess an eidetic memory and recall each relevant section and their italicized phrases upon demand. :p

So, sir, you can kindly back off from your rebuttal of my off the cuff wording as not being helpful. It was not a technical draft drawn to the exactitude that you most clearly expect each and every utterance or written comment to contain.
