I think Trajan is a fine game. For some odd reason I tend to fret when someone requests to play it. I'm not sure why. I like the game. I think its the setup which is a bit more fiddly for me which I have improved using a Plano to organize setup and cleanup. The other reason may be it seems to be a bit more of a brain burner for me.
...as I think about it more, it might be that it is one of those games that my wife and I are more evenly matched in our head-to-head 2p games 10-7 in my favor. Doh! Perhaps I feel more threatened?
It's a good game, don't read to much into my internal angst. ;)
