by stevelabny I have 20 2-player games on BaJ (MooseDetective). 15 wins 5 losses (1 of which was a 200-200 tie that I lost. gah!)In my 5 losses I was outnumbered in boats 4 of the 5 times BUT in my 15...

by Jux_ Just got CoB - have not played it yet, but really like what I read from the rulebook.I think very highly of games that are "complete", that do not need expansions. I also am not against...

by PzVIE They are not necessary. Most of them simply add variety by providing more different boards. The small tile expansion is just nice, but the game plays perfectly without it. :meeple:

by Lorthania As you say, CoB is pretty much 'complete' as it is. Add to that the fact that the money it'll take to get the expansions will probably buy you a whole new game. Unless you really really...

by Raujour I found a 'stupid-good deal' so I have them.I've only used the tiles because they are in the pile. The boards are ok but not necessary. You could print several yourself.

by mpalframan It would be nice if Ravensburger lumped all the expansions into one package that was easily accessible. I can dream right?
View ArticleReply: The Castles of Burgundy:: General:: Re: Are the expansions important?
by sfox The extra boards don't really add anything. One thing I like to remind people of, the boards (even the extra boards provided in the base game) are inherently imbalanced. Particularly board #8...

by mpalframan Interesting to see. What's your opinion on the extra tiles?
View ArticleReply: The Castles of Burgundy:: General:: Re: Are the expansions important?
by rednar IMHO the rules of "10" boards are more interesting than the original ones (resulting in very tight games, where workers are a lot more important and valuable). And you can't play with the...

by GamerVP I recently got a replacement part from Ravensburger, just contact them and I think they'll send you a piece.

by stev4uth Send the publisher a note with your pictures. Usually they send a replacement--and in this case they probably will send the whole sheet.
