I've laminated mine. I tend to laminate such sheets when a game comes with it, like Ora et Labora, Sid Meier, etc.

I used A4 size films and requires some trimming to fit the laminated mat back in the box. Glare issues happen (probably because of the type of films I use) but only when view in inclined angle. Perfectly readable with zero glare when viewing directly (especially while playing).

I hate to see mine got folded at the corners (usually by accident; while carrying in box, when picking up, etc) and these type of paper won't last very long when you think of what could happen. I'd say it's worth it.
