First of all, nice write-up!
I do not have much experience with 4 player CoB. Almost all my games are my wife and I. However, I've noticed that with 4 players, turn order becomes even more important because every tile will come out. Also, don't forget the scoring differences between 2 player and 4 player (selling goods and completing a color-section are the only two that comes to mind, but there may be others).
I'm certain you'll have fun, and I look forward to your 4 player session report.
