I agree with this. On our second game, the scores were 155 - 141. I guess a 2-player game tends to score higher, and I'm not sure how many were in your game, but still...
EDIT: never mind, you answered this while I was typing! :D
I actually have found 4 player games to score higher. We have never broken 200 before and our last 4 player game everyone was over 200+. I think it helps that you get the higher point values for selling goods and the bonus markers at the end.
