I've been wanting to self create my own expansion tiles for CoB but I just find that I simply have no time nor image creating capabilities. BlehRegardless, just thought I would share my ideas here and get feedback if they are any good or overpowered or what not.
I do hope to make them some day to test out its balance and playability but it doesn't look like it will happen anytime soon.
Do have a read through and tell me what you think !
**most complicated of the lot is the crane**
1) Crane - Yellow Tile / Brown Tile ( undecided )
- cost: 1 Silverling ( on top of using a die to take the tile )
- place a marker on it
- if unused by end of the game, player scores 5 points
- discard the marker: player may build a tile ignoring the color restriction on the player mat, but the tile must match a color that is adjacent to it
- the newly placed tile acts as a void and effectively shrinks or divides an area on the player mat
- when scoring regions, score them as their shrunk or divided size
2) Village - Black Tile ( Dark Green )
- cost: 2 Silverlings
- take one worker tile, and may perform a free action with any dice value immediately ( same as Castle ability )
- each time a tile is built adjacent to this tile, take one worker tile
- therefore, maximum of 6 worker tiles can be gained from this tile
3) Bank - Black Tile ( Grey )
- cost: 2 Silverlings
- player gets 1 Silverling immediately, player will also get 1 Silverling after the end of each round ( same as Mine ability )
- at the end of the game, each unused Silverling in the player's possession is worth 2 victory points instead of the usual 1 victory point
4) Farmhouse - Light Green Tile
- cost: free
- score 2 points for each different type of animal already in the pasture that the farmhouse is built in
- for each different animal type built in the same pasture that the farmhouse is already present in, the player may score an additional 2 points
- therefore, the maximum points that can be gained from this tile is 8 points or 10 points ( if playing with the goats - 2nd expansion )
5) Harbor - Blue Tile
- cost: free
- player may store 4 goods type instead of 3
- at the end of the game, the player scores 1 point for every ship tile on his/her entire player mat including the harbor tile
6) Traveler's Hut - Yellow Tile
- cost: free
- player may store 4 unused tiles instead of 3
- at the end of the game, the player scores 2 points for every unused tile on his/her player mat
7) Casino - Black Tile ( Yellow )
- cost: 2 Silverlings
- if the player rolls doubles, he/she may act out of turn and play first
- if player is already ahead in the turn track, he/she scores 2 points
8) Navigator - Yellow Tile
- cost: free
- at the end of the game, the player scores 1 point per space he/she has advanced from the starting turn order space and also 1 point per player he/she is ahead of on the turn order track
That's all I have so far and will probably stop here unless I can start creating my own any time soon
