You know, considering it's game rank and poor component quality - a deluxe edition would be a sell out IMHO .Lots of mediocre games milk the cow with endless expansions, not so with castles of Burgundy, just a couple of promo boards/tiles.
Purely as a business proposition it would be a no brainer - for the gaming world it would be magic!
