Indeed, almost every known game in BGG has a topic in which someone already asked about how it fits with non-gamers.I searched for some info on Burgundy about his matter, and didn`t find anything. So...
Well! Tomorrow is friday night for games. I`ll be playing with a friend that is already totally into boardgames, and another one that is a non-gamer. This non-gamer guy actually enjoys Risk (it`s called "War" here) very much, and he`s a fan of the confrontational aspect of it, also the dice deciding the fate of people. He`s not a fan of RPG games, for instance.
But, on the other side, he is really wanting to try the games I have. He always tries to make it to the group, and tomorrow at least the three of us will be there.
I think the other dude is totally in the moment to learn Burgundy. I`m also taking Burgundy to the table often. Do you think there`s a chance it fits for him? How`s your experience of Burgundy as a gateway?
The other options fittable are: Dominion, Lancaster, 7 Wonders. We have Catan also, but both me and my other friend are a bit tired of it.
